My Story
I didn't find photography. It found me.
Growing up, I was the kid who always had a camera — first a disposable one, then a hand-me-down film SLR from my grandmother. There was something magical about freezing a moment in time, about capturing the exact expression that said everything words couldn't.
After studying fine art photography, I spent years assisting commercial photographers across the Northwest. I learned the technical craft, but more importantly, I learned how to make people feel at ease — how to draw out the version of someone that they themselves rarely get to see.
In 2014, I opened Megastar Photography with a simple belief: every person deserves portraits that reflect who they truly are. Not a stiff, posed version. Not a filtered, unrecognizable version. The real, powerful, beautiful version.
Over 2,400 sessions later, that belief hasn't changed. If anything, it's grown stronger.

2014
The Beginning
Started shooting portraits out of a converted garage studio in Mountlake Terrace, armed with one light and an obsession with capturing authentic moments.
2017
First Studio
Opened the first dedicated Megastar Photography studio. Within six months, the waiting list stretched to three months out.
2020
Going Digital-First
Pivoted to a fully online booking and delivery system, making premium portrait photography accessible to clients across Washington State.
2023
Award Recognition
Named one of the featured photographers in a fashion show located in Phoenix, Arizona.
